Widi Jack an IOS editor not working

When I’m in the Morningstar App on my phone the bluetooth device “cme” is shown on the list of devices. When I hit connect the mc6 mkii says “in edit mode…” and a second later the iphone screen says “Connection failed. No response from device. Please try refreshing the Editor”

  • mc6 is updated with v3.13.1
  • the mobile editor says it’s for firmware v3.13
  • I’ve downloaded the widi app and done a factory reset of the widi jack
  • I’ve downloaded midittr app for iphone

Any tips? Seems like it’s aaaalmost working. :zany_face:

Is this for the MC6 MK2? Can you try updating to this firmware and let me know if the issue persists for you?

On the WIDI Jack, if you are using the 2.5mm to DIN5 adaptors from CME, make sure to set the WIDI Jack to Type B: Using the CME WIDI Jack | Morningstar Engineering

Its an mc6mk2.

Tried the firmware you linked to. Same issue.

Can you confirm that you also tried changing the switch setting on the WIDI Jack itself? i.e. changing from MIDI Type A to Type B

Yup. Tried both a and b.

Using din connectors. So it should be on B right?

Yep, DIN is MIDI Type B
