You set the cc# yourself in the boss within the memory settings.
Go to memory—> assign
Set the cc# for that assign
Set the target for that assign eg start/stop all, start T1 etc.
then program that cc# into the Morningstar with a press of 127 and release of 0.
As an example using Assign 3 (you could use whichever you like):
Assign3 ON
Source CC#3 (or any other cc number)
Src mode MOMENT
Target ALL START
Min/ max leave blank
On the MC3
MSG 1
Action PRESS
Type CONTROL CHANGE
CC# 3
CC Value 127
MSG2
Action RELEASE
Type CONTROL CHANGE
CC Number 3
CC Value 0
Remember that these settings on the boss are per memory, not global so you need to save these into every memory patch you intend to use.
Hi~. Thank you for your answer.
But I’m sorry that it’s not the answer I want.
What I want to know is that if the MAX/MIN value is not blank, that is,
IMMEDIATE, FADE OUT and LOOP END… In this case, what should I do with the CC# value?
The track end behaviour (fade out etc) is part of the track settings (use the button under the volume slider). You would need to set the same for T2 also.
I’m not sure if you can change that via midi, I’ve never tried.
If I remember correctly I think the start and stop is the same. Ie if the track is stopped, sending that cc will start and if the track is playing, the same cc will stop. This would work depending on what assigns you have set in the rc500 (track 1, track 2 or play/stop all).
You should also check that the MC8 is sending two messages per press - a 127 and a 0. The boss needs both to work correctly.
This work perfectly well, thank you very match for this tips I really wouldn’t have find myself. Let’s say it’s a strange behaviour from the RC-500 which need to have 2 messages on the same CC to work !
