Want to run ml10x with multiple amps

I want to split the ml10x to two amps with the ability to toggle each amp on or off with a presets or individually. i want to make sure I’m imagining this correctly before I buy a one. I currently have a ml5 which I originally planned to use prior to this but since decided to relocate that functionality to my board so figured just go 10x and put everything in a loop.

so here is the setup I’m thinking. the first 8 loops are for 8 different fx pedals.
loop 9 has a lehle p-split. the iso side will go to the amp. the direct side will go to the loop return.

loop 10 will do the same to amp 2. I’m not sure I need a lehle split here as I don’t really need the signal to go back into the pedalboard.

I don’t know if I have to connect anything to the out since I don’t think I can toggle that on and off I won’t use it.

does this make sense?

I still have to figure out the programming on my mc8. I can have two dedicated buttons. button A can toggle loop 9 on and off. button B can toggle loop 10 on and off. I can do something like a long press on A turns both on and a long press on B turns both off.

obviously ill have to do this in simple mode but I plan to do that anyway as I want to use the mc8 in stomp box mode most of the time

will this work? can I expect any noise issues or pops?

after a good amount of research I think I can do this more simply with the beta firmware and the 12/10/2024 update.

New update today:

  • 2024-12-10 Allow bypass/engage for Input and Output
    • CC#40 Engage/bypass input tip. Value 64 for toggle
    • CC#41 Engage/bypass input ring. Value 64 for toggle
    • CC#42 Engage/bypass output tip. Value 64 for toggle
    • CC#43 Engage/bypass output ring. Value 64 for toggle

doing it this way I can have the last loop output (mono) split to both output tip (amp 1) and output ring (amp 2). I can put a lehle p split in between one amp and the ml10x to deal with phase/ground issues. and I can have two buttons to toggle CC#42 and CC#43

if that is accurate its much more simple than what I had plus frees up two loops.

I use mine with L10 to my Amp and Output to my Line Mixer>Looper>PA.
So I can have a mono out to amp and stereo to Looper and bypass either…
But I use Advanced Mode…so it’s presets rather than toggle on off.
Is there any reason for you not too.
You wouldn’t need the p split then.
You could also do it at the output and have 2 more stereo loops

If you just want stompbox mode and A/B maybe something like an ES8 would be better.
