Greetings, I am VERY interested in purchasing a MS6 MIDI Controller but I first need to know that it can accomplish my goal. I am very much hoping that you will be able and willing to answer my questions regarding it.
I will be using the MC6 to control my Boss ES8 Effects Switching System as well as simultaneously triggering backing tracks using MAinstage 3- whilst having the MC6 control the tempo via MIDI for both the ES8 and Mainstage. The Boss ES8 has 100 banks- each containing 8 patches. My hope is to use the MS6 in this fashion (Picture Below)
If this is possible, I know that the MS6 has 30 banks each containing 12 presets. I sometimes perform more than 30 songs a night. Would I be able to copy this template onto the latter 6 patches of the same bank? Effectively allowing for 2 songs per bank/60 total?
Another work around I thought of would involve saving the 30 banks to a computer- wiping the MS6 and creating 30 more banks- saving that to the computer- then between sets on break- wipe the first 30 banks/songs on the MS6 and upload the saved alternate 30 banks/songs for the next set. Is that a viable solution?
