I am looking to build a rig with multiple remote loop switchers, but I would like to have enough switches in one place to be able to toggle on and off all 14 of my pedals. I just got the mc6 pro, and I want to add an mc8 as basically an extension, so it can display what each switch is going to do, as opposed to using a resistor ladder switch for those additional switches. Is there any good way to program this?
Hi,
I’d wait for the mc8 pro to be released.
Can you be more specific about your intended set up?
If you just want to toggle your devices on and off you could just programm each foot switch to control a device. Pretty straight forward. Just make sure that midi through is enabled and that you don’t send messages on the channel of your second mc.
Yes, I specifically want to have a setup that has 14 footswitches that all have displays for what is being done by that switch, as well as an ml10x and two ml5’s to cover stereo and mono effects. I want bank 1 to have all of my effects on one page, so I can simply toggle on and off individual effects per foots witch without having to go up and down any banks. Then, going up in banks I want to have songs per bank with preset combinations. I have been considering just adding an 8-switch resistor ladder aux switch to my mc6 pro, but that doesn’t have a display.
