Use MC6PRO and ML5 as an traditional stombox controller with instant acces and presets

Hi I wonder if someone can help me understand how to program this! I want to use

A-F as my main presets

G-L as instant access to my individual pedals in ML-5

And when I use them in the A-F presets, it remembers witch toogled state the effect has in G-L, I have spend hours and hours trying to program this, and I am just about I give up, I want to use the MC6PRO/ML5 as a more traditional loopsystem

I thought I was finally getting somewhere, but now if I make two presets where the same pedal is engaged, It turnes off. Any idea what to do?

If I understand correctly you should be able to use CC 6-10 for the ML5 on your G-L (that will toggle the pedal rather than programming a specific on and off message). Now for the A-F you’ll need to program a Toggle Off for all loops as the first message on each (CC0 #0-63) then program which loops you want engaged. With this set up you can select a main preset and then toggle individual pedals off/on with G-L. What you won’t be able to do is turn on a pedal with G-L and then click a main preset expecting it to stay engaged. Hopefully this is what you’re looking for. Had mine set like this for a good while.

Hi. Have you watched the video below before? It will give you a good understanding of how to use your MC6 and ML5 combo. What you have stated is easily achievable using PC and CC messages.

Hi Brandon, yes I have seen and tried that, the problem is you can not mix it, so that you have preset that make alle your pedals change in for instance A-F and then have acces to your pedals one at a time on G-L, because when I press my preset and go to G-L afterwards, I have to press the presets(with single pedals in) twice to have a reaction. Maybe I am just wanting something the MC/ML combo can not give me :frowning:

I made it work, with using the toggle CC and the CC for bypassing all like you said thanks

My only problem now is that when I switch to presets in row where the same loop is on, it looks like it’s off in the preset with direct access, but I can live with that!

Thanks again

The video shows you how to use CC#6 to CC#10 at 2:59. This way you will never have to press twice to get the loop in the opposite state of what it currently is (engaged/bypassed).
