Per the subject, I believe the MIDI Channel Remap feature is ignored for USB Host output. I’m using an MC6 Pro on 3.13.6 (latest as of today).
I have a use-case basically identical to the MIDI Remap documentation; I just bought a Valeton GP-5 which is factory bound to MIDI Channel 1. I currently have an HX Stomp set to Channel 1. I don’t want to change every preset.
The Valeton is connected via USB Host; HX Stomp via TRS MIDI.
So, I reconfigured the HX Stomp itself to use Channel 3, then updated the existing MIDI Channel 1 to Remap to Channel 3. This works well.
I then configured MIDI Channel 5 on the MC6Pro for the Valeton, and set MIDI Remap to Channel 1. This does not work; no MIDI commands are ever received by the Valeton. I’ve ensured USB Host output is enabled.
I know this is a bug because when I send commands from the MC6Pro to Channel 1, even with it remapped to Channel 3, both the Valeton (on Ch1) and the HX Stomp (on Ch3) receive MIDI Messages.
My “MIDI Thru” settings for USB Host In have no destinations, nor is USB Host a destination for any other of the inputs.
