Unexpected PC scroll behavior

Signal chain is MC8 → RC600 → Beat Buddy.

Programmed preset 1 on MC8 with a PC scroll to change RC memory, which works fine. Being a PC change, I thought it would pass through to change the BB song also, but this is not working yet. At this stage, only the RC memory is changing (although tempo/clock is changing on both).

Programmed preset 2 on MC8 to recall a specific memory on the RC and song on the BB, which works. Now after doing this, preset 1 starts working?

Essentially, I have to press preset 2 in order to get preset 1 to work. Preset 1 doesn’t work on power up.

Not sure what’s going on!

I think (don’t use Boss midi stuff) that this might be a typical thing with Boss, in that you need to send value 0 AND value 127 (possibly with a delay between them)… Start/Stop Rhythm on RC600

I added CC’s for LSB and MSB for the BB before the PC changes in my first preset, now it works.
