Turn blink off when selecting new preset

I use the blink option on the mc8 to indicate which preset I am on, however moving to a different preset on the mobius for example means I need to turn it off before activating the new preset or both blink.

Is there a way of selecting a new preset and stop the previous one blinking, if that makes sense?
