Triggering on press and long press

Hi there,

I’m new here and I have a question related to triggering on Release.
Sometimes I have to trigger a click during a live performance on the fly and triggering on switch Release is messing up my timing.
Is it possible to have a long press function assigned to the same switch while triggering on a press and not on release? And by this I mean the press should only trigger if it’s NOT a long press (this might not be physically possible, lol)
I just want to mention that I do not own a Morningstar device yet, but I am looking to see if it will fit my needs.

That’s not possible, but you can use a external footswitch to trigger messages. Or try a long press release, that way you can place your foot on the switch and release at the right moment.
