I really like the message type “trigger messages”, as it saves time programming. In my example I use it to disengage other presets (or parts of it, specific messages) which control effects that I want to disengage. For example when I want a distortion or overdrive effect, I automatically disengage a chorus from the previously used preset. While compiling my setlist for an upcoming gig I copied my main settings from one bank to another and adjust it for specific songs. Now sometimes I add messages to an existing preset (e.g. to engage more effects simultaneously and with another press disengage them). Now let’s say I use the drive preset to disengage those previous effects in another preset via “trigger messages”, I have to not only add the new trigger messages (to disengage the newly added effects) but also correct the existing checkboxes since they no longer link to the correct messages (since in between the were other messages added).
what would REALLY be nice now was, if the linked “trigger messages” of the other presets would recognize the change and see that the previous msg8 in preset D is now msg10 and correct it automatically. That way I wouldn’t have to remember, which other presets trigger messages in that preset I just changed and correct them all manually by hand.
I hope I express myself clearly! You think this would be something that could be implemented? Would this help others of you too!
