Toggling Positions using external midi

Hi there

I would like to send a single midi command to my MC3 to universally toggle between Position 1 and 2 for any given preset. This is so I can use an external midi footswitch to toggle positions. So for example I would be able to select Preset A on the MC3, and then whenever I press the external midi footswitch it will toggle between Positions 1 and 2 for Preset A.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Yes, CC#2 and CC#3 can set or clear the preset toggle (without executing the preset).
