Toggle Reset Group + Engage Preset

Hello,

So the ‘Toggle Reset Groups’ are super useful to keep only one preset active at any time, but when a preset is triggered via the ‘Engage Preset’ message (and the currently active preset is different) it won’t clear the latter one. I can always call a ‘Set Toggle’ message after but it would be super convenient if this also acted as manually engaging the preset disabling all the other ones.

Here’s a simple diagram of the issue:

D–E–F
A*-B–C → Here the A preset is active and all (A through F) presets are part of ‘Toggle Reset Group: 1’.

When I manually engage preset E and then I call the ‘Engage Preset’ message on A this is what happens:

D–E*-F
A*-B–C → Both the A and E presets remain active when only A should be active.

Thank you!

Wanted to add that I’m also experiencing this issue with my MC8 Pro as I’m trying to create some presets that are made up of selections from other presets within their toggle reset groups.

My tone selection is a channel (within its own toggle reset group) of an amp (within its own toggle reset group)

When trying to creating a preset built around “engage preset” messages (To choose tone, fx etc) this is creating an issue.
