Hi, I’d like to be able to use one Aux switch button to do the follow:
Pre-condition: I’m on Bank 3 and my Home Bank is Bank 1. I’d like to use one aux button to…
- Bank jump (via press action) to my Home Bank #1 and enable tuner/mute.
- Be able to tap (press) the button again to return me from Home Bank #1 to my previous bank location (whatever it was) and turn the tuner/mute off.
- When I’m on the Home Bank #1 with the tuner/mute engaged, I’d like to be able to disable the tuner/mute and stay on the Home bank (via a Long Press Release)
I can do 1 & 2 already, however, I don’t think there’s a way to do #2.
Ideally, I’d like to be able to toggle back and forth between my current bank and my previous bank with a simple press.
Thanks!
Yeah the problem is returning to previous bank where that bank number could be “any”. Not possible AFAIK
Ok what exactly does jump to previous bank do then?

Ha ha! Erm, exactly what the OP wants! My bad!

Anyway, I don’t think it will work as @64jazzbass wants to use an Aux button for this. They’re not stateful ie I don’t think it can “know” when the intention is “go to bank 1” versus “go to last used bank” etc
Wow! It works like a charm! I have the aux button set to “Last Used Bank / Page or Page” to when I’m on the home bank, and have set it to Jump to home bank when I’m on all of the other banks. Not sure how I missed that action menu option! Thanks!
This thing and MIDI are a journey!

Lol. I’m 0 for 2 here. Really should check these things rather than use what’s left of my memory!

I like the ‘Apply to all banks’ option with my Aux switches.
So I have one switch set as Home (Release) and Last Bank (Long Press) or Visa Versa.
The trickiest part of midi is remembering the uber clever setup you’ve just configured once you’re done.
Part of why I like the Aux Switches setup as ‘All Banks’, then you can label them. Less flexible but more usable , practically. You’ll still change them but it becomes a more deliberate, thoughtful change.

I just decided I wanted to use this functionality and a quick search brought me to this thread. All set up - thanks for clarifying
