Sysex message help

Any smart midi peeps out there? I do ok with midi but I don’t know much about Sysex.

Overall goal: Get my tap tempo from rc-300 to communicate with Behringer X32 Digital mixer

Here are 2 videos to help with context.

A member in another group posted this. I have a BOSS RC-300 looper that is my master midi clock. I have Morningstar MC6 controlling several things so if there’s a way to make this work, I’m all ears. Shout it out!

This is what needs to happen to achieve what I need. How can I do it?

The Sysex message you will have to send to the X32 is as follows:

0xF0, 0x00, 0x20, 0x32, 0x32,

0x2F, 0x66, 0x78, 0x2F,

0x30,

0x2F, 0x70, 0x61, 0x72, 0x2F,

0x30, 0x32,

0x20,

0x33, 0x30, 0x30, 0x30,

0xF7

first line is the Behringer signature, the following line stand for /fx/,

line 2 is a single byte you should replace by ‘1’…‘4’ according to the effect slot number you plan to use on the X32,

line 3 stands for /par/, followed by the parameter number on two bytes in line 4; On X32 the time value is typically found at par# 02; Then a space at line 5, followed by the value of the time on 4 bytes. Here it shows ‘3000’ on line 6. Line 7 is always 0xF7 (end of sysex message).

All this of course implies the correct effect is loaded at the effect slot (1…4) you selected.

You would of course send all the above bytes in one shot. The lines separations here are just to help explaining the Sysex elements
