Hi everyone,
About 2 years ago, I was looking for a controller that would do bank and program changes and could also be programmed by itself without software. The MC6 MKII I ended up buying does everything I need it to do and then some. It can also be programmed by itself or by software. From what I have seen on Morningstar’s forum most of the MC6 users are guitar players and a lot of MC 6’s functionality is geared for guitar equipment. But when it comes down to MIDI, musical instrument manufacturer follow the same MIDI specifications. I can assure you that the MC6 is well equipped to handle bank, programs and SysEx commands for keyboards and synthesizers. I am very pleased with it. Continue the nice work Morningstar engineering. Cheers !

Thanks for the feedback and support!
Yes it’s a super useful controller! I have a keyboard workstation I use for gigging and also have a pedalboard with a midi-compatible amp modeler and i use the Morningstar in conjunction with the my tablet with bandhelper to fire off keyboard presets, guitar presets not just for me but my bandmate, talk back mic toggling on my mixer, and even to change the scenes on our lights! Midi with Morningstar is doing all the heavy lifting haha
