Synergy SYN 20 IR channel switching

Hi

I’m trying to set an MC6 Pro to switch the channels of a Synergy SYN 20 amplifier.

according to the amp manual, it accepts “standard 5 pin midi cable”. I want to use one of the Omni ports set as type A midi. It does not work :man_shrugging:

It does not work either setting the Omni port to any of the other types of midi.

It works using a 3.5 TRS to 5 PIN cables that I have.

It’s not practical in my configuration to use the 5pin out in the MC6 Pro before someone suggests it.

What am I doing wrong? Wrong adaptor?

That’s an audio adapter. You’d need a midi 5 pin to trs. The type doesn’t matter if you want to use an omniport. Just set the omniport accordingly.
