Syncing Relay Port Tempo

Hi, I currently use an AUX Switch in the fixed switch custom mode to tap out MIDI Clock. Fine for MIDI pedals.

Am I missing something or is there a way to automatically have Relay Port Tap automatically synced to this? I don’t want to have to program a separate preset to tap out the tempo again to sync up non midi pedals.

Ideally I would like to be able to just tap a tempo into a switch and have both MIDI & Non - Midi pedals follow this automatically.

Also, when testing out the ‘SYNC Clock 8 Taps’ functionality it seems to drift tempo from the MIDI clock quite quickly. Can’t find anything in the manual but is this essentially supposed to sync up the relay tap with MIDI clock?

I should add, aware I could program a preset to send both relay and midi clock but would have to program that for each bank and use one of the controller slots. Was hoping to use my 3 button AUX switch to control Tap Tempo globally.

Thanks.

I’m interested as well.

I’m experimenting with a Dig V2 which is working MUCH better with receiving tap tempo via the TRS port vs midi clock.

The relay sync clock 8 taps seems to be key here but how to get it synced with a new tapped midi clock?

You’ll need to tell the controller to start the sync. So lets say in Msg 1, you start the MIDI clock at a certain tempo, then the next msg should be to sync the relay port to that tempo:

Is there a way to have the relay port output a subdivision of the midi clock tempo other than quarter notes?
I’ve seen this on other devices, and it can be useful, allowing you to leave the subdivision controls set to quarter notes on your analog modulation pedals, but changing the subdivisions from song to song with the midi controller.
