Syncing MC8 with Digitakt

Hi. This should be a basic setup and I can’t get it working. I would like to use the MC8 to send CC messages to my Digitakt. I have read the Digitakt manual and the mute messages seem to be either CC 94 for Global mutes or 110 for pattern mutes. So I believe the message I would send would have –

CC 110 and 0 for CC value or 127. The digitakt doesn’t seem to be receiving this. I tried various configurations of it. I have checked all midi config settings to receive CC data and set TRK 1 - TRK 1, TRK 2 - TRK 2 etc

Can you offer any advice?

Might it be this? Certain Functions Are Not Working

If not, use the Editor’s MIDI monitor function to verify that the expected messages ARE being generated by the MC8.

And check that your routing is correct as per “Edit MIDI Channel Settings” section of Editor User Guide (Version 1.3.6)
