Strymon Pedals not responding to anything. (via MIDI Box)

So i am having no luck setting up my strymon pedals. (Cloudburst & Compadre)
Hoping someone can help!

I have an MC6 Pro going through MS Midi Box.
All cables are morning star.

i have managed to set up midi for my RC-5 and Hx-ONE with no issue.

However putting both strymon pedals in save mode and trying to save as preset does nothing
The Midi box light does light up but the patch wont save. >THe light just blinks blue (on both pedals)

The midi box is blinking blue as it is receiving midi but it just has no effect.

I have tried disconnecting all the other trs jacks but it hasnt helped.

Also the MIDI channels are set correctly for each pedal

I had a feeling maybe it was something to do with controller settings (MIDI thru ) so i set that to 3.5 but it hasnt help but i also noticed if i disconnect and reconnect editor that midi thru settings is no saved.

Could this be the issue?

Ok i solved it after 3 hours of digging. I surprsied i didnt come across it sooner.

Not onyl do you have to select the midi channel on the strymon pedals you also have to switch the mode once an expression (TRS) cable is inserted.

So the left knob for midi channel and the right one is for midi mode.
(when holding down button while powering on)
Make sure right knob (mix in my case ) is blue.
