I’m looking to control the Infinity algorithm on my Specular Tempus with my MC8 - particularly recording the “snapshot”. From what I can find, there are no CC messages to capture a snapshot, and there are no CC messages that “hold/release” the two switches (how you capture snapshot on the pedal itself).
Does anyone know a way around this so everything can be controlled with a MC8?
Try the Aux-Out midi message on cc 24. It also took me a while to figure it out, but it works!
This is a screenshot from the Editor for a patch on my MC8. It loads my Infinity preset on the ST and with long press and release it engages the hold function. To reset the infinite verb just press again, or long press and release for the next infinte verb.
It’s pretty cool! Doesn’t matter if the ST is switched on or what preset is loaded, simply long press on the MC8 and it makes a nice drone.
