Source Audio + DMC Micro + MC?

Hi… this has come up on another forum and prompted the question, out of idle curiosity more than anything else!

Any Source Audio One series + Morningstar users out there using a DMC Micro or DMC Micro Pro in their setups purely as a dumb box to provide USB host? i.e. even though the DMC has switches and can do MIDI stuff, it’s just there to connect SA pedal to MC?

That’s exactly what I’m doing. I’ve got the source audio C4 going into my DMC micro and the mc8 is the brains of it all. Tap tempo and expression work great on all of my presets. I can move up or down presets via the mc8 or have my favorites named and in various banks.
