Being able to do some simple math on counter values could be cool for instance for displaying the 0 to 127 scale like 0 to 10 instead which might better look like what you see on the item you are controlling.
It would also be cool if the value of one counter could be used for assigning values to another counter.
I am using my MC6 Pro also for controlling volumes and I am trying to use counters to keep track of the volume set on my Boss OD-200. But I would like to keep track of both af general “Song Volume” and seperate volumes for different parts of the song like a “Solo Volume”.
Typically I would start out setting “Solo Volume” at a certain level above song level but that is currently not possible when trying to use one counter for song volume and another for solo volume.
Song volume I controll by using two additional aux switches so solo volume should be a value relative to song volume, not a fixed value.
I know this is an older thread, but I was hoping for the same feature set.
I want to be able to build PC and CC numbers and values based off the current values of counters. For example, if I have 2 counters counting from 0 to 4, I’d like to use counter1 to fill in the first digit of the PC number, 1x, and use counter 2 to fill in the second digit, x1. Its a bit more than basic math, but, I think with the %E[counter number] variable available, maybe the PC or CC number or value numbers can have a “custom” entry at the end of the drop down list after 127 where customers can add in some simple mathematical expressions to make custom numbers.
So with my example above, I could set a PC number to %E1%E2.
I want this ability so I can control my eventide H90’s individual effect slots and make combination presets I can select using the MC6. For example, I can have a page of reverb types and a page of modulation types. I can then select a reverb into slot one using a value of counter1 from 0-4. I can then go to the modulation page and select a modulation, which sets the number for counter2 from 0-4. That could maybe point me to %E1%E2, which is an H90 preset with the selected reverb and modulation.
You can do that if you choose update. You can set the counter to whatever number you want.
I also found that the CC scroll lets you increase the count by other numbers besides 1
