Hello.
I’d like to make it possible to see the visual of the selected preset.
I have two banks to offer you.
Two possible variations, almost identical. Depending on the difficulty, there may be an advantage to proceeding one way rather than another…
First bank:
Here I select the bank, for example, preset A (drive). I then activate preset F (chorus or phaser) or G (tremolo or Leslie). You can see that the selected preset lights up. This is what I want.
The problem here is that if I select preset B, for example (another drive), the selected F or G effect turns off, and I no longer know which one was selected. I’d like to find a solution so that the previously selected effect always remains lit (background color).
- bonus question: I turn off and on the F or G preset via a “long press” action on the F or G button. I would also like to turn on the strip when the effect is on if possible. Not mandatory. It’s an option.
Second bank:
Here it’s the same as the previous bank, except that when you alternate between the F and G buttons, the effect’s background remains lit. So it’s impossible to tell which one is selected (thankfully, we have good ears ^^).
On the other hand, when you select several different drives (keys A to E), the background doesn’t turn off. It’s not perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction.
In this scenario, it would be enough to make the strip light up when you long-press it.
But be careful… What I didn’t specify for either scenario 1 or 2…
I don’t think it’s enough to play with positions 1, 2, both, or shift… Because the F and G presets work in scroll mode, which makes things much more complex.
If anyone can help me…
Here is the link for the video to show you exactly what’s happen.
