Setup on Toggle to effect the shift state of an active toggle

Hi Team -

I was wondering if there is a way to set up a toggle so that, no matter what the currently selected toggle is, the selected toggle can enter a shift state. For example, toggle A is the selected toggle, and toggle D is the toggle that puts other toggles in their shift state. Then, when I press toggle D, toggle A should enter its shift state. The same would be true if toggle B or C were selected; pressing toggle D would put those toggles into their shift state.

The functional example would be pressing toggle A would add overdrive, but the shift state of A would add an EQ lift for a solo.

I am also open to other methods of achieving this. I just want to avoid double-taps and long presses. I lack the coordination to pull that off while playing. :slight_smile:

Hi,

you can use ‘engage preset’ messages to achieve that.

Just programm a message to engage your eq with an action type you wouldn’t use anyway, like long double tap, to preset A in pos2.

Programm an engage preset message to preset D to trigger that long double tap on preset A.
