In the video for setting up multiple expression messages it says to move the expression pedal and the editor screen will magically show all of the numbered assignments.
Although my expression pedal works fine (I am using it with my quad cortex with no problems) this screen does not appear.
Is it because I have to set up every single expression CC first in the assignment screen?
You can select the expression preset for editing using the side navigation bar:
If you want to load presets into the editor actively when you step on a switch or move an expression pedal, you’ll need to enable this setting under the Editor Settings tab:
Thanks. I got a bit further with this after posting.
I am on the latest beta firmware and I was having trouble getting the exp assignments to save. Having said that I was editing on my ipad so I was slightly confused between using the ios editor/the web based editor/the staging editor. I did get it to save in the end, but then I had a different problem related to my midi setup.
I will see if I can get it working later today.
