I haven’t found an answer that I understand so sorry if this is easy…
There are third-party MIDI editors/librarians for the Meris Enzo and Ottobit that I’d like to use without constantly unplugging MIDI on my pedal board. Plus, I also need sync for the Ottobit sequencer/stutters and Enzo Arpeggiator when editing.
To get editing with sync, I was hoping to connect things like this (still waiting for gear to arrive so haven’t tested yet)…
- DSI Tempest MIDI Out (sync) → Quadra Merge In1
- Quadra Merge Out1 → MC6 Pro In
- MC6 Pro Out → Kenton MIDI Thru In
- Kenton Thru Out1 → Meris I/O In
- Meris I/O Out → Quadra Merge In2
- Computer/librarians → MC6Pro USB-C
The other pedals will get MIDI via the Kenton Thru5. Would this work in theory or is there a simpler way?
Any help/pointers would be much appreciated as I feel pretty confused with all the converter boxes and connections etc. cheers, Ben
