Scaling factor changes range of values

I am using an expression pedal with my MC8 to control the output level on my Source Audio EQ2 pedal. I set the cc values from 0-127 so I can get the full range on the device. I am trying to use a positive scaling factor to get a response closer to an analog volume pedal. When I set the scaling factor to zero, the range sweeps from -42dB to +6dB, the full range of the pedal. If I set the scaling factor to 5, the range is now -17.5dB to +6dB. If I set the scaling factor to 10, the range is now -5.6dB to +6dB. I think the scaling factor is sending a different range of CC values. Is this expected behavior?

A validated my assumption by using the midi monitor. When the scaling factor is 0, the range is 2-127. When set to 10, the range is 34-127.

All the scaling factor values should start at 0. Can you try re-calibrating the expression pedal, and set it to high sensitivity and see if that helps? Let me know! I’ll double check later as well

That worked. Thanks.
