Reverse message scroll direction

I can’t find any documentation on the difference in the “Utility”, “Manage Message Scroll”:

  1. Toggle Scroll direction
  2. Toggle Scroll direction and Ececute
  3. Reverse Direction Once and Execute

While testing I see it as they all do the same: They permanently reverse the direction and 1. jump TWO steps back while 2. and 3. goes THREE steps back?

Yeah I, as well as others, has asked for a increase/decrease functionality (+1 and -1).

Then the unit would ‘only’ need to keep track of which message row (in the message scroll) is active at the moment and either increase/decrease depending on which command is executed.

Messing around with the general direction (of all rows), probably has it merits in some situation, or perhaps is tied to some limitation of the system architecture.

It is a bit of an odd solution, which I don’t understand the choice of.
