Relay Re-Triggering Behavior

Hello,

It seems that when a relay is closed, and requested to close while it’s closed, it will open then close again rather than just staying in the closed state.

For example. I"m using the relays to switch channels in an amp. When I select my Channel 1 preset, I have messages set up to close Tip on relay A and close tip on relay B(turn off channel 3 on the amp). However, on the preset for Channel 2, I also have it set up to close tip on Relay B(turns off channel 3 on the amp). So when going from channel 2 to 1, it briefly opens the tip on relay B causing channel 3 to engage.

How do I keep it from doing that?

Hi Jason,

I just tested this and can confirm that once the relay is disengaged, another disengage message will not cause it to engage and disengage again.

There might be something else going on - Can you share the bank backup file so I can take a look at your settings?

I’m having the same issue. Any luck figuring this out?

Cleared my situation up. I was using TAP NO/TAP NC but when I changed it over to Engage/Disengage that cleared it up. No more quick toggling before it lands on the proper channel.
