Recall Preset Help!

Hello,

I’m running into an issue with what would seem pretty straight forward. I’ve used the helix for a few years now and there was a “recall” setting that I used for every patch I made. The way I have my MC8 Pro set up is presets A-(Clean), B-(Overdrive), C-(Distortion) and D-(Gain Lead). Presets E-(Phaser), F-(Delay), G-(Reverb), and H-(Clean Boost).

The problem I can’t figure out is when I’m using preset A and I want to engage preset E, I want the strip and background color to stay lit up on preset A when preset E is engaged. So essentially both A and E presets are active and lit. When I hit preset A again, I want my clean tone to stay engaged, but I want preset H to turn off along with the strip and background color.

Hi. You can have each preset change the toggle states of other presets by using the Set Toggle message type. And if it suits your needs, the Toggle and Toggle Reset Groups feature may also come in handy.

So I have toggle mode on along with reset toggle groups.

Toggle Reset Groups will allow only one preset in the group to be shown as Engaged, which is a common requirement by users. In your case, it sounds like you require more granular control and the Set Toggle message type will allow you to achieve what you want.
