I’d love to have the options of controlling the midi clock in real time in order to accomodate the drum machine to some tempo changes during the performance.
Usually you have a bmp and you should go steady with it, but some shows need interaction and dynamic tempo changes during the same song.
The ploytec one.2 midi clock generator has two different operations:
-one needs 5 taps in order to give a tempo and start message;
-one needs the player to constantly tap the pedal in order to send the tap tempo, and it calculates the average bpm of the last 4 taps.
I’d be really interested in the second one, it can be helpful like the Ableton tempo follow function.
