Real confused: switching from simple to advanced changes input routing?

This can’t be how things are supposed to function but I’m confused at how I got here and how to fix it.

I have 2 mono inputs. Guitar on ring and synth on tip. Usually I route the synth (ring) directly input → output, no loops. But I like the option to use some of my effects. Most of the loops are used for guitar (tip).

I have some simple and some advanced presets. Randomly, my guitar (tip) gets routed to both outputs (tip and ring). I’ve never set my presets up to do this. But I’ve found that merely clicking the simple/advanced button sometimes fixes the routing. I say randomly because I cannot figure out how to reliably recreate the problem.

It’s gotten to the point to where my board is almost unusable and I can’t predict it. If my guitar is routed to both outputs then I have no synth and both dry and wet guitar. I have “input routing” set to off (or ring? I don’t understand the different labels for this setting based on the device or editor).

Thanks in advance.

I’m using firmware 1.1.3. Thanks in advance.

I just updated to the latest firmware, 1.2.0 BETA. Hopefully this fixes it :crossed_fingers:

Hi,
your issue might be related to this

Might be related to this feature being enabled:

@GuitarWolf and @James thanks. I’ve had this unit for almost a year and I’ve played a couple shows with it, but for some reason this issue has just been happening in the past month or so. I had never messed with the firmware or the input split feature the entire time, except for upgrading to the beta firmware yesterday.

EDIT: and now I’m getting an issue to where when I change to every advanced preset I get a very loud buzz and no signal. I may need to take the ML10x off my board, I have music work I need to do and this is not working for me.

EDIT 2: Went back to v1.1.2 and the non-beta editor and the loud buzzing isn’t happening. Time will tell if the routing issue is still a thing.
