Questions on use of resistor ladder switches

I successfully calibrated the 8 switches added to my MC6 Pro by a Pedalnetics expansion ‘panel,’ and am just now trying to use them. Two questions:
(1) I thought I configured the 8 switches to G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N… but I don’t see any setting for that in the controller configuration settings. If that is indeed configurable, can you point me to where in the editor it is set?
(2) Are these switches constant, or are their settings distinct in each preset bank?

I figured it out, and am programming my additional switches as I write this. If anyone else has this question, the letter assignment per switch is part of the (hardware) configuration; once you do the assignments, you need to restart the device.
Today I’m using the Web editor with a usb connection; last night I was trying to use my WIDI jack connection from my tablet, and was getting kicked out of the editor or BT session, AND getting some crashes of my MC6 Pro. I had done the update to 3.13.5 over the BT connection, and that might have been the problem; before starting work using the wired connection, I reinstalled the firmware update. Happy camper again!

Sorry to bubble up an older thread, but you touched on something that I have been curious about with the resister ladder aux switch setup. I ordered an MC6 Pro yesterday, and am exploring the aux switch world now.

You mention that you assigned each switch to a letter, similar to how the MC6 Pro itself has each switch assigned A-F. By adding the aux switch with G-N, it seems like you are able to assign any switch action to them? For example, press G would bank up, holding G would page up, double tap G would go “Home”, etc. for each of the aux switches you have available.

This isn’t documented at all, but something I need to understand before I pull the trigger on a TRS vs resister ladder aux switch

Yeah, you have that right. I ended up selling the ‘switch expansion’ device after simplifying my pedalboard… but the resistor ladder switches worked perfectly.
