Programming two presets on one switch

Hello there,

I would like to program my mc6 pro tu control my quad cortex mini as followed :

  • Preset A : Clean Ambiant on first press / Pushed ambiant on second press
  • Preset B : Rythm on first press / Lead on second press
  • Preset C : Tap tempo
  • Preset D : Turn On or Off tremolo effect
  • Preset E : Turn on or off an overdrive
  • Preset F : Turn on or off a flanger

I am good with the toggle preset mode, and group reset function.

What I don’t manage tu do (or at least the way i want to do it) is the following. Each i press Switch A, i want it to turn on the clean ambiant preset (first press), even if i am on my rythm preset.

And i want to do the same with the rythm preset. If it is not engage, the first time i press switch B, i want it to turn on my rythm preset on the quad cortex mini.

I managed to do this with the function “only on first press”, but then, each time i want to turn on or off, let’s say the tremolo (preset D), the device considers i changed preset. IS there a way to do this without using the function on first press?

Ps : I used the shift + function as part of the algorythm, which seems to work fine.

Thanks for the help, i hope that i’ve been clear!

Alexis

Hi, is there a reason why you do not want to send the pc (?) again, after you’ve engaged the preset initiallly?

I actually want to be able tu toggle between the two positions of the preset, but i want it to start on position 1 if i am in rythm or lead preset (which is on another footswitch)

You can do that by adding the set toggle action to the second switch to change the position of the first switch.
