Profiles - Two Questions

Two questions about profiles on the MC6 Pro…

1 - I know you can change profiles from the menu on the controller (by pressing D+F), but is it possible to change profiles from the editor too?
2 - Want to make sure I fully understand the use of profiles…I know there are 128 banks with 16 presets each (2,048 presets!!). Am I correct that this exists for each of the 8 profiles? So essentially, the MC6 Pro gives you the possibility of 16,384 presets (i.e., 2,048 x 8)?

Apologies if these are stupid questions, but there isn’t much out there about profiles, and if this gives you 8x the amount of presets available, I would think it’s a pretty significant feature! Thank you!

Actually 24 presets. So 128x24= 3,072 times 8 = 24,576 presets + 512 expression presets.
There is NO way anyone would get close to needing that many. It would be impossible to keep track.

  1. Currently, you can’t change profile from the editor nor by a simple press of a switch. Morningstar told me that they are thinking about changing this but nothing new for the moment.
