Preset Scrolling reversing direction

I am using the Preset Message Scroll, described here: Preset Message Scroll (scroll through messages within a preset)
I am using the temp rename to change the preset name to indicate which message I am on.

It works in the forward direction.

I have added one message to the preset, triggered by a “long press” which does a “Toggle Scroll Direction and Execute”. This reverses the direction, and changes the preset name to the prior item in the list, however, my device indicates that it went two items prior.

I am testing this with a Strymon TimeLine, changing the delay type, which is indicated by a LED on the pedal. I am not ruling out this being a bug with the TimeLine.

I have also tried the “Reverse Direction Once and Execute”, and weirdly that seems to have no effect.

I have not tried the “Toggle Scroll Direction” option yet, as I would prefer the long press to go to the immediately prior item, not just toggle the direction.

Any ideas? I have attached two screenshots, the first shows the first couple of messages (the CC sent to the device and the temp rename), these are followed by several more pairs (not shown), then at the end I show the two utility messages, one to set the number of preset scroll messages and one for reverse direction.

I used a MIDI sniffer, this does look like a MC6Pro issue. I submitted a bug to support. Thanks!
