I been trying to scroll presets M - N - O - P - Q - R ( page 3 MC6 pro ) from preset D ( page 1 ) the message scroll works, on release, but I can’t make it to change direction it’ll only go up, but not down, I’ll like to update the name as well please help!
To change direction, you’ll need to add a Utility message to change scroll direction. You can use a double tap action as shown below to toggle direction and execute. You can then continue scrolling in the new direction with single presses (releases)
To make the preset name change with each step, you’ll need to add a Utility message to set the preset to scroll by 2 messages (to include a Preset Rename message) at a time. We explain that in this article.

My experience is that changing message scroll direction on my MC6 Pro is behaving strange with jumping several steps back when changing direction

Hi Morten. I don’t experience any issues with the groups of messages being sent whether in forward or reverse direction. The group of 3 messages always get executed correctly.
I understand if you are using the %G placeholder, the number displayed does get incorrect/confusing when direction is reversed. However, when I add a Preset Rename Message to each scroll step group, it works perfectly well.
Just to be sure I understand you right, I’ve attached a preset file that I find to be working well below for you to try out to see if it resolves your issue.
