Possibility for offline preset creation?

Hey there @james.
Have you guys ever considered the possibility of using the editor for offline preset creation or editing (i.e. no controller usage) and then saving this data for uploading at a later stage?

I frequently find myself thinking about creating or editing something but don’t have the controller with me at the time e.g. I might be on a plane, or watching TV, or even in bed in the middle of the night when I have a sudden burst of creativity.

With the ability to do work on an iPhone or iPad, it’d be fantastic for an option to work offline.

That’s possible with the Setlist manager.

Ah ok. I had no idea it could be used for this. Thanks!

EDIT: will this be updated soon to include the MC8 Pro?

@james, just a reminder to add the MC8 Pro to the list of devices in the Setlist Manager. At the moment, MC8 Pro backups can’t be loaded into the setlist manager because they don’t match any of the selected MC models.

Missed this out. I just pushed the update.

I’m also looking into allowing files from different models to load, with just a warning, instead of completely disabling this possibility.
