Playing/sending midi note data Enzo X and controlling CC with midi keyboard

Hey all,

What I would like to accomplish.

  1. Use my novation launchkey to play my Enzo X without physically switching midi I/O. Ideal situation- play keybed of novation launchkey , send all note data through MC6pro din, and hear the notes being played on Enzo X.

  2. Use the remaining controls on the novation to control specific pedal parameters.

  3. Use the drum pads as CC messages to select banks/pages (like a resistor ladder).

Notes:

I’ve successfully played the EnzoX standalone while both ts and midi inserted. I changed the keybed to midi 8 (same as Enzo X).

I realize I may need to purchase a CME 2in 2out, as a merger/splitter, however I would suspect the MC6pro could handle midi through.

I have tried this through din and usb host, selecting the corresponding din through-to.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I can confirm this should work in general. I’ve successfully connected an arturia mmk to the MC pro via the host port and can play samples on my RC500 and on my PC.

There isn’t much to concider. Just make sure that the notes are sent on the correct midi channel. What you already did. And make sure that midi through is enabled from the port that you connected the novation to, to the port you connected the enzo to.
What you also already did.
The only issues I can think of is either the physical connection or the MC is connected to the editor.
Double check your cables, orientation of plugs if using 5pin, midi channels and make sure to disconnect from the editor.
