I am planning a board and am looking to see what plugs work best in each location. For instance, for my big box strymons (timeline. etc) I am looking to be using the squareplug sp400. For my loop switchers (ml10x, etc), I will use the sps7 patch plug for trs and sps4 for ts. However, for a few pedals like the strymon deco v2 and chase bliss pedals (warped vinyl and generation loss), I’m wondering if right angle plugs like switchcraft 226 (ts), 236 (trs) and 238x (trs) might be more ideal? Where is the right angle plug more ideal?
however, is it possible the sp400 is too tight for the big box strymons (timeline, etc)? they fit almost exactly together, so I wonder if that may put too much stress on the jacks on the unit over time?
