Why is the PC Number Scroll only available when editing presets and not when editing Banks?
To me it looks just as relevant for Banks!
The PC Number Scroll feature is for you to use a switch to send PC numbers in increasing or decreasing order with each repeated press. That would not work well for On Enter on Exit Bank messages. What are you trying to achieve?
I use my MC6 Pro in “one bank per song” mode.
All my songs have an ID number which I also use as board and preset numbers on my Plethora, my Kernom Ridge and as #Id in MobileSheets on my iPad.
I use a counter to store the song ID.
It would be nice on bank enter to be able to use the PC Number Scroll “Send only” to update all my pedals based on the current value of my song ID counter.

I see. There is a relatively simple workaround to achieve what you want.
- Program a switch preset to perform the PC Number Scroll ‘Send Only’. This can be any unused switch in any bank.
- Add an Engage Preset message to engage the preset in (1) on Entering a Bank.
That should do it!
I am using my MC8 PRO in the same way as Morten. One bank/song. And I’m using a similar solution as you suggested:
On Enter Bank updates a scroll counter so it has the same number as the bank itself. Also there’s a On Enter Bank that Engage Preset (action: long press release). That preset with its long press release, transmits an PC#/CC# from the value scroll counter that was updated.
Seems to work with my Eventide H9. But my Source Audio Ultrawave doesn’t like it nor respond to it at bank changes (On Enter Bank), however the functionality of the switch itself (long press release) seem to work with it.
I am kinda stucked on this and will investigate if it is a timing issue (to fast for Ultrawave at bank changes) or something…
