Paste Preset to a range of banks

Hi,

Not sure if this has been requested before but I’ll do it anyway.

Would be nice to be able to paste a preset to a range of banks instead of all banks at the same time.
I have a setlist of songs that use banks 20-35. I’ve set up a sort of template for the first song (on bank 20) and it would be nice to paste these preset skeletons to banks 21-35. These skeleton presets are taking care of Set Toggle for three blank sound presets, Set Expression functions and all I’d need to do for a new song is enter my program changes and a few CC values for each song. Be a very fast way of doing a lot of work.

I also don’t want to overwrite some other existing banks I have already in the MC6 Pro.

Maybe an ‘Import from Bank’ feature would be nice where you could choose multiple presets from one bank to import into another quickly? I know you can do this type of thing with the setlist editor but would be a nice feature in the main editor. Be useful for templating.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

This would be rather helpful to save time. I haven’t used the setlist editor because I haven’t needed it, but I have thought about your suggestion many times. It might be that I am simply unaware of a feature like this as I’m currently only a bedroom MC6Pro/ML10X user, and am somewhat new to midi. Either way, good suggestion!
