In my MC8 pro, I´ve setup on page 2: Toggle Mode On + Toggle Reset Group.
So any of the switches deselect the 7 others. Selection/deselection is showed in color changes.
In each switch there´s an counter update for an numerical ‘ID’. And each transmits two CC# (two midi channels). Always the same CC# but different values (1-8) for each switch.
On page 1, I have one switch/preset with Message Scroll: ON. Its display shows the ‘ID’ from the counter. And each Message has Engage Preset action that recalls any of the 8 presets on page 2.
So each time pressing that switch, it cycles thru its Messages in ‘linear order’ where each message is recalling different presets on page 2 (+ updating the counter ‘ID’).
Example:
Message (scroll) cycle goes: 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8
Num ‘ID’ / Engaged Preset is: 1;2;1;2;1;3;4;1
The issue I am having is that if I, at any time, go back and forth between the pages the Toggle Reset Group ‘Update’ is irrational. Some shows correctly, some does not.
Since I am using the same Engage Presets in either case:
-
For example toggling the switches directly on page 2 (which are working correctly as they all update their status within the Toggle Reset Group with no issues).
-
Or by stepping thru via the Message Scroll on page 1 (also engaging the presets on page 2, but this ‘breaks’ their Toggle Reset Group relation for some reason and the status ‘update’ for all switches are lost/wrong).
I would expect them both to function similar in regard to their Toggle Reset Group status update. Unless I am missing something, it seems to be a bug?
