I am not sure if this king of announcement is allowed on this site, but…
So I am selling the core of my midi engine : an MC8 completed by 8 footswitch in oder to bring it some facilities.
The MC8 is ‘boosted’ by two Doremidi MPC-10 controllers and home customized footswitches.
It seemed to me that someone might be interested in purchasing this very practical set rather than just the MC8.
The extension I provided makes it easier to control the MC8 by providing easy Bank control (Up/Down), Page Toggle, Recall Last Banks, as well as three fixed menus that I personally dedicated to : one Song Menu, a Sound Control Menu, and a Cubase Menu.
All of this is reprogrammable in the MC8 and MPC-10 using their respective editors to adapt to your live performance or studio needs.
With this extended controller, in stage mode, I controlled the following: an H&K Grandmeister Deluxe 40, a set of Source Audio pedals arranged in two groups (front and effects loop), four synths, a Fishmann Triple Play MIDI guitar system, and an iConnectivity MIOXL MIDI switcher.
For recording on Cubase, it allowed me to control the Cubase Transport via the MC8.
The only customized components of this set were the Harley Benton FS-2 footswitch boxes, for which I replaced the TRS output cable with a female TRS jack and rewired the internal wiring.
The MC8’s programming is very flexible; a bank is reserved for each of the fixed menus, allowing for, for example, 16 songs. The remaining banks are allocated to the details of these songs and sound settings.
The pedalboard on which everything is installed is supplied alone, without its gig bag.
A 9V power supply is required for the MC8 and the Doremidi UMH-21 USB Host.
I was using a Strymon R30 that powered other pedals on a larger pedalboard. I’m not selling the R30 with this kit because I want to keep the power supply I use when daisy-chaining two R30s.
The Fishman Tripleplay FC-1 shown in the photos is not included in the sale.

The new purchase price of the kit, excluding shipping and customs (MC8 from Singapore, etc.), is over €700.
As an option, for an additional €60, I can provide the Strymon R30 Kit power supply that I used with it. It’s an R30 without a power transformer; only a cable to daisy-chain it to another Strymon is included.
