Presently I have my overdrives on the ML-5 and struggling with toggling, enabling, etc as I move between MC8 presets. I am missing something in the logic here…
MC-8 config
Preset-C activates ML5-Loop-C
Preset-D needs to activate ML5-D and turn off Loop-C.
MC8 Preset-D
I have attempted to send a CC 0 as the first Message and then send a PC#4 further down the list. All this does is turn on Loop-D and then turn off both Loops. I have also replaced PC#4 with CC#4 and CC#9 but get the same result.
I’m using the ML5 to switch between my overdrives as well. Here is what I found that works:
In the editor your preset C for Loop C should look like this:
CC number:8 CC Value: 127 Position: Both MIDI Chan - whatever you have the ML5 set to
Preset D would look like this:
CC Number: 9 CC Value 127 Position Both MIDI Chan: Your ML5
CC Number: 3 CC Value 0 Position: 1 MIDI Chan: Your ML5
This will allow you to toggle Loop D on and off. It will also bypass Loop C on the first press of the switch.
I have found that I need to constantly refer the the MIDI Dictionary in the editor a great deal.
