The Nome II exposes three USB MIDI interfaces:
- Interface 1: Commands (controls the Nome itself)
- Interface 2: MIDI Out 1
- Interface 3: MIDI Out 2
The MC4 Pro successfully communicates with the Commands interface. I can send Program Changes, CC messages, Start/Stop commands, and the Nome responds correctly (preset changes, RES, STO, etc.).
However, I cannot get MIDI Clock or any MIDI messages to appear on the Nome’s physical MIDI OUT ports. The manufacturer believes this is because the MC4 Pro is only communicating with the first USB MIDI interface (“Commands”) and not Interfaces 2 or 3.
My questions are:
- Does the MC4 Pro support USB devices that expose multiple USB MIDI interfaces/endpoints?
- If so, is it possible to select which USB MIDI interface (or endpoint) the MC4 Pro sends MIDI messages to?
- If this is supported, where is that configured in the editor?
- If not, is there another recommended way to route MIDI Clock and Program Changes from the MC4 Pro through the Nome II to its physical MIDI outputs?
Thank you!
