Noise from guitar pedal when MC6 Pro is connected to the computer - any remedies?

I’d love to integrate the Chase Bliss Mood MKII into my setup. I’d like to control both, the Mood as well as Software ony my computer, with the MC6 Pro. Problem is - as soon as I plug the MC6 Pro into my computer I have this hissing noise in the audio path.

Any Idea how I could remedy this?

My interface for this setup is a Zoom AMS-44 which unfortunately doesn’t have a dedicated MIDI i/o.

Hi,
that is most likely a ground loop. To fix this you’d have to isolate the USB port. You can find cheap isolators on the internet for a couple of bucks. Those have a quite small data transfer rate, though. Enough to transfer midi but I’m not sure how those can handle a back up. If you need a higher rate for example to transfer audio data you’d have to put down about 150 bucks.
