We just pushed an update to the editor with some UI updates for editing presets. If you do give it a go, let me know how it works for you!

Preset Render

This feature can be enabled in the Editor Settings. Be sure to save the settings after making changes if you want to persist the settings.

New Icon Library

Easily click on the icon to copy the placeholder to your clipboard and then paste it to your preset name.
Please note that that the new icons requires a firmware update which we have not released yet. ETA early next week.

Create SysEx Preset function enhancement

You can now select which message to apply the SysEx message to. Previously, your preset will be cleared out and the SysEx message will be applied from Msg1.

Bank Arrangement now available in Mobile

Previously, this function was excluded due to UI limitations. You can now click on the bank to make edits (instead of drag and drop).

any updates on when the new firmware update may be released and what features it may include aside from compatibility with the above new features?

Thanks for the update.

I have only used the editor on a pc under Linux. Everything seems to be fine.

Suggestion: the Preset render take too much space on the screen IMHO, it could be less higher.

When we scroll down on preset mode, a large button for saving the preset appears at the top of the screen. I find this behavior very convenient. Can you do the same in the bank mode?

There’s some delay in releasing it but we’ve released a beta firmware with the icon feature here: Icon displayed only as letter - #5 by james

Can you share a screenshot of what you see on your screen? The preset render feature scales with the width of the browser. If maxed out over a wide screen then it’ll look very big.

Yes, we can add this for the bank settings.

If the text in Position 2 is left blank, will it carry over the text from Position 1 like it did previously? The preset renderer just shows my presets with no text in position 2. I’m just messing with the setlist manager and loaded a backup file of mine and haven’t updated to the beta firmware or connected my mc6pro yet to the editor with preset renderer enabled.
Great job on icons though. Those are cool. Any idea when the update is coming?

Yes, that logic is in the controller itself. If Pos2 name is blank, it will display Pos1 name.

We’re not ready to do an official firmware release yet - still busy with the firmware for the new products but we should be releasing it together once we launch
