Hey there, I’ve got an OBNE MTET and MC8 Pro. I’m finding the MTET great for using an exp pedal with different pedals via the MC8 Pro, however I’ve got unexpected behaviour when turning an exp message off.
It seem that when I turn an exp msg off it resets the expression value to zero, as if when turning the expression message off the MC8 sends a cc 0 value. The expected behaviour would just be to stop passing cc values to the MTET at all, and if the MTET doesn’t receive any new midi data it just holds the last value it saw.
This doesn’t seem to happen with some other pedals, e.g. I also use the expression pedal to control volume on my Woodrow via USB midi, but when I turn that exp msg off it doesn’t go to 0, but it also sounds very similar to what may be happening in Value From Expression Resetting To Zero Between HX Stomp Presets with that user’s HX stomp.
Any ideas?
